Rick Love has served on the First Electric Cooperative Board of Directors since 1998. The distribution cooperative serves more than 91,000 member accounts throughout parts of 17 counties in central and southeast Arkansas. In addition, Love serves on the boards of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives Inc., a Little Rock-based cooperative that provides services for the state’s 17 distribution cooperatives; and Today’s Power Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives Inc. that provides renewable energy solutions for utility customers. Love is founder and president of RJ Love Enterprises Inc., a contractor and manufacturer’s representative that provides spectator seating and regulation play sports equipment in Arkansas and Oklahoma. He serves as chairman of the Mid-Arkansas Utilities Board of Directors; is a member of the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Little Rock Air Force Base Community Council and Camp Robinson/Camp Pike Community Council; and is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Sherwood.
